MTAM CEO & Mobile Comply CEO to Speak at 2015 Michigan Broadband Conference

MI Connect logoMTAM Executive Director/CEO, Linda Daichendt and Mobile Comply CEO, Elaina Farnsworth will share the stage at a breakout session entitled “Michigan’s Mobile Industry – Driving Development” at the 2015 Michigan Broadband Conference on October 20th.

Every year, the Michigan Broadband Conference attracts nationally recognized broadband and technology experts to join local leaders and provide attendees with best practices and insights into leveraging technology for improved community and economic development, education, digital literacy, healthcare, and workforce development. Actionable information and case studies will be provided to empower participants to work with local stakeholders and broadband providers in their communities to expand technology access, adoption and use.

This year’s conference will feature the following keynote presentations:

  • Jay Elliot, technology executive and best-selling author of The Steve Jobs Way and Leading Apple with Steve Jobs, and
  • Matthew DelNero, Chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau

About Linda Daichendt

Linda Daichendt is the Executive Director/CEO of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM), a Co-founder of Mobile Monday Michigan, and Executive Producer of the ‘Michigan Mobile Musings’ podcast. She is also a Board Member for the Michigan STEM Partnership.

Linda is one of Michigan’s leading proponents of the use of mobile/wireless technologies for businesses of all sizes – and in all industries. For her work with mobile/wireless technologies in Michigan she has been recognized as a member of the Techweek Detroit 100 in both 2014 and 2015.

A 15-year resident of her adopted home state of Michigan, Linda’s daily focus is on educating Michigan business, government & education stakeholders about the opportunities that mobile/wireless technologies provide to substantially grow Michigan’s economy, as well as ensuring the ability for all Michigan residents to benefit from the jobs and businesses created by those technologies.

Elaina Farnsworth, Mobile Comply CEO, is a public speaker, writer and thought leader, developing world-class quality connected vehicle and mobility curriculum and certification. She launched the only connected vehicle certification program with SAE International and the Connected Vehicle Trade Association. Her talent empowers innovative people to change their possibilities in a connected world. She has been awarded the 2013 Elite 40 Under 40, the 2014 Crain’s Detroit 40 Under 40, and a 2015 Techweek 100.
